In the 2021/ 22 season, she will make her debuts as Musetta La Bohème, Baroness Freimann Der Wildschütz and Pamina Die Zauberflöte as well as Zdenka Arabella.

Along the way, Nikola has worked with conductors such as Manfred Honeck, René Jacobs, Raphaël Pichon, Jérémie Rhorer, Alexander Soddy, Robin Ticchiati and Franz Welster-Möst.

Nikola Hillebrand is also in demand internationally as a concert singer. In addition to her opera and concert activities, Nikola is a passionate interpreter of art song. She is the reigning winner of the international song competition "Das Lied" in Heidelberg (jury chaired by Thomas Quasthoff) and will make her debut at the Wigmore Hall in London and at the Schubertiade in the coming season. Nikola works closely with the pianists Helmut Deutsch and Alexander Fleischer.

After studying in Munich with Fenna Kügel- Seifried and two festival seasons in Glyndebourne, Nikola joined the ensemble of the Nationaltheater Mannheim, where she appeared in roles such as Sophie Der Rosenkavalier, Gilda Rigoletto, Norina Don Pasquale, Adele Die Fledermaus, Marzelline Fidelio, Oscar Ballo in Maschera, Frasquita Carmen and Despina Così fan tutte. Her interpretation of the title role in Monteverdi's L'Incoronazione di Poppea was a great success.
