Janoska Ensemble
New directions in music are currently trending under imaginative names, and fusion and crossover categories are constantly being expanded. But the classically trained Janoska Ensemble transcends all boundaries with its polyglot musical language. Their debut CD, which went gold within a few months, is aptly titled "JANOSKA STYLE" (Deutsche Grammophon 2016). Her 2019 album "REVOLUTION" also achieved gold status. Album no. 3 entitled "THE BIG B's" was released in 2022. The fourth Deutsche Grammophon album "THE FOUR SEASONS" is in preparation (release October 2024).

It is not easy to summarize the special quality of Janoska's arrangements in a few words: They are parallel forays into classical territory and into far-flung areas of the musical repertoire, in which the musicians use their spontaneous creativity to create first-class, innovative and stirring music that lives and breathes. These incomparably audience-friendly transformations are the work of three brothers from Bratislava - Ondrej and Roman Janoska on violins and František Janoska on piano - together with their Konstanz-born brother-in-law Julius Darvas on double bass.
