Francisco Brito
Francisco Brito, tenor, was born in Argentina in 1986. He was a scholarship holder of the arteMusica Foundation from 2011 to 2013. He began his studies in his home country and then continued them in Italy at the Accademia d'Arte Lirica di Osimo and at the Scuola dell'Opera Italiana di Bologna, where he specialized in the Rossini repertoire.

He made his operatic debut in 2006 as Il Conte di Libenskof in Il viaggio a Reims at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro. This was followed by guest engagements at the Teatro Comunale Mario del Monaco di Treviso (Lindoro in L'Italiana in Algeri), in La scala di seta at Opera Lombardia and at the Teatro Argentino de La Plata in Buenos Aires. From 2011-2013, Brito was a member of the opera studio at Oper Frankfurt. In 2011, he made his house debut at the Semperoper Dresden in Anna Bolena.
His most recent appearances include Il Conte di Libenskof at the Zurich Opera House, Lindoro at the Teatro Comunale di Treviso and di Ferrara and Florville (Il signor Bruschino) at the Teatro La Fenice in Venice. In 2016/17, Francisco Brito can be seen as Lindoro at the Stanislavsky Theater in Moscow, as Iago (Otello) at the Teatro di San Carlo in Naples and as Arturo in The Puritans at the Stuttgart Opera.
