Brein, Schmid & Gansch

When it comes to a congenial partner on the trumpet, Georg Breinschmid's motto is: Gansch or not at all! And if a violinist is missing as the third member of the trio, then of course you go to Schmid and not Schmiedl. The musical trinity par excellence, if you really want to groove. Above the bass foundation, great inventions rise up in this combo that make you forget genre boundaries. The joy of making music is translated directly into expression - a good dose of humor is of course a must. And the best thing about it: all the pleasure is based on the great class of the individual contributors.

Rossini's overture to "William Tell", for example, demonstrates a jazzy potential that goes far beyond the confines of classical music. However, the exceptional artists seem to draw not only on Rossini, but on the entire history of music, making it the basis for their serious music with a twinkle in their eye.

Brein, Schmid & Gansch make all the complexity fade into the background and the technical gimmicks seem like a matter of course. A dangerous vocabulary in our times, but the joy of playing of these partners in crime and music is highly contagious!
